New Member of The Florida Green Building Coalition
W.F. Gillespie, Custom Home Builder in Citrus County, Florida, has recently become a New Member of The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC). The FGBC is a certifying agent for builders who wish to build “Green” homes.
With the FGBC certification process, W.F. Gillespie Construction of Citrus County, Florida, will be able to designate your home “Green”. This process will not only save on energy costs, but will enable you to leave less of an impact on the environment. The FGBC certification will also increase the value of your home for future resale.
W.F. Gillespie Construction has dedicated itself to be a real “Green” builder in Citrus County, Florida. New guidelines implemented by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) on “Green” standards for home builders will be coming out soon to eliminate those builders that are “Green Washing”.
”Green Washing” is a term given to those builders that claim they are building “Green” by offering limited “Green” procedures in their homes. W.F. Gillespie Construction, Custom Home Builder in Citrus County, Florida, is proud to give our customers the opportunity to have the entire home certified by Energy Star and The FGBC.
